Cross Country Flights
Each season, we fly at least four trips across various parts of the
country to either attend national "fly-ins" or to move planes around after
having new engines installed, etc. We offer anyone to ride on such trips for our
cost of fuel plus a donation made to the Museum of Flight. Since Olde
Thyme Aviation
, Inc operates as a Part 91 operation, we cannot charge any profit beyond overhead
and/or donations to charity. Each flight is available to either one or two passengers,
depending of course on the model of the airplane. Also, passengers can arrange to fly
"one way" on the longer rides to and from the Midwest where many of the national
fly-ins are held. This is a chance to experience true cross country flying in an open
cockpit biplane at its best. And it's a wonderful way to go on a unique "honeymoon,
birthday or anniversary." We have found many people who are just interested in
doing something so totally unique that many other people have only dreamed about in the
movies.
20th ANNUAL NATIONAL BIPLANE EXPO
JUNE 3-4, 2005
BARTLESVILLE, OKLAHOMA
We will be flying our 1936 Cabin Waco to this event, leaving Seattle on
approximately May 30th or 31st and returning on June 6-7. We have room for
two passengers who would like to take a special honeymoon or anniversary
flight simply for the price of fuel in both directions. If seriously
interested, call Ken at 206-730-1412.

The National Biplane Association hosts this every year. You can get further
info at
www.biplaneexpo.com Generally over 100-125 vintage biplanes show up for
this event from all points of the country. And there often is a special
honored guest from historic aviation circles.
Passengers will be responsible for arranging their own lodging and will be
on their own for the two days of the EXPO while our airplane is on display.
Relive History! Travel cross country the way it was done exactly during the
years of the Great Depression!
